February 2021
    Books & Materials  /  eLibrary  /  Events Calendar  /  Reader Resources  /  Contact Us

Keep track of what you read + movies you watch from our collection, plus any of our virtual or grab-and-go programs that you attend this month.

Fill out entry forms online at MyACPL.org, or use paper copies
through curbside service.

One entry from each branch will win a Kindle Fire!
Our 7 winners will be drawn on March 12, 2021.
  • Multiple entries and participation with multiple branches are AOK (though you can only win once!)
  • If a parent or guardian is reading to a child, that counts, too.
  • How about audiobooks and eBooks? Yes, they count!

We're still open for curbside service ONLY until further notice.
Take advantage of this no-contact way to check out books,
movies, and games; for printing needs; to borrow a library laptop;
to get a library card; and more.

 Celebrating Black History, Present, and Future
Black History Month's 2021 theme is
The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity.

Watch for themed online storytimes throughout the month on our Facebook page and YouTube channel, and celebrate Black cinema on Kanopy.

You can also find primary research documents like historical newspaper articles, pamphlets, diaries, and correspondence in the newest research resource in our eLibrary, Black Freedom Struggle in the United States.

Further explore the work of Black authors, illustrators, directors, and publishers with us through curated lists of eBooks and audiobooks on Hoopla Digital and Biblioboard. And click on the book covers below to reserve these Romances by Black writers in our collection, just in time for Valentine's Day.
