Thank you for your patience, Athens County!

Due to much-needed service improvements,
we've been in the process of updating our phone system and internet at most of our locations.

Continued thanks for your patience and understanding about any outages in service as we finalize this process.

Contact any of our 7 locations with queries about your account and checkouts; to reserve library meeting rooms anywhere in the county; or to ask questions about programs happening at any library location.

You asked, we answered.

Pick up this new monthly calendar at your local library branch to find out what we're planning for college students, adults, and seniors, from book clubs to craft workshops.

Our full calendar of free programs is also available at myacpl.org/events.

Have an idea for a future program? We'd love to hear it!

Outreach updates

The Amesville Locker Library continues to serve a growing number of residents and now includes an on-site book drop and informational bulletin board.

According to library card holder Mirabai Ingles whose whole family uses the electronic lockers, "It's so easy to request books, it's convenient to our rural home, and opening a locker box to an item we are awaiting is as good as any birthday present."

ACPL's Outreach Services Manager Laura had an enthusiastically full plate over the summer, including bringing the pop-up library to events around the county. To see more photos of her many adventures, visit our growing Outreach Flickr album.
