A big Athens County WELCOME to Lindsay Place,
who joined ACPL as our assistant director in April!
Lindsay grew up in Cutler, Ohio and started her career as a page at the Portsmouth Public Library. Since then, she’s held a wide variety of library roles related to reference and circulation, youth services, and outreach in Ohio, N. Carolina, and W. Virginia. Lindsay earned her master’s in Library and Information Science from Kent State, and before joining us, she was the manager of the South Parkersburg Library.
She’s an enthusiastic auntie, and you might also find her at a craft fair, slowly renovating her house, or relaxing outside with her two dogs and two cats. She’s a big believer in the power of humor and describes herself as “an open book--ask me anything!”
Up and Running: The Amesville Locker Library!
